Question
How do I display some results of all load cases in the printout report, but other results of selected load cases only?
Answer:
In the general printout report selection, it is possible to define the load cases to be displayed, but only for all result types. Sometimes, however, it is useful to differentiate this setting depending on the result type (for example, support forces of all load cases should be output, whereas only internal forces of the governing load cases should be displayed).
On one hand, this can be set with the special selection per result type (right-click the corresponding entry in the navigation tree).
On the other hand, all load cases can remain selected in the general selection, and all unnecessary load case results are then removed manually from the navigation tree.
This manual selection can be overwritten in the global settings. The corresponding option "Overwrite Individual Settings" appears here.

In this article, the calculation of a timber panel wall with the beam panel thickness type is compared with a manual calculation.
Using the Timber Design add-on, timber column design is possible according to the 2018 NDS standard ASD method. Accurately calculating timber member compressive capacity and adjustment factors is important for safety considerations and design. The following article will verify the maximum critical buckling strength calculated by the Timber Design add-on using step-by-step analytical equations as per the NDS 2018 standard including the compressive adjustment factors, adjusted compressive design value, and final design ratio.
The three types of moment frames (Ordinary, Intermediate, Special) are available in the Steel Design add-on of RFEM 6. The seismic design result according to AISC 341-22 is categorized into two sections: member requirements and connection requirements.
The fatigue design according to EN 1992-1-1 must be performed for the structural components subjected to large stress ranges and/or many load changes. In this case, the design checks for the concrete and the reinforcement are performed separately. There are two alternative design methods available.
In the Concrete Design add-on, you have the option to define an existing vertically oriented punching shear reinforcement. This is then taken into account in the punching shear design.
In RFEM, the oriented strand board (OSB) material is available for the USA and Canada. The material parameters are taken from the "Panel Design Specification manual".
In the ultimate configuration of the steel joint design, you have the option to modify the limit plastic strain for welds.
The "Base Plate" component allows you to design base plate connections with cast-in anchors. In this case, plates, welds, anchorages, and steel-concrete interaction are analyzed.
