Indian Standards (IS)
Standards and codes are important. Where do you plan your project and what do you have to pay attention to? When it comes to international standards, the Dlubal programs are reliable companions for customers from all over the world. You will find numerous standards integrated in RFEM and RSTAB, whereby the corresponding add-ons allow you to design steel, reinforced concrete, and timber structures. Here you will find an overview of the standards available in the programs for the respective countries.

The structural analysis programs RFEM 6 / RSTAB 9 facilitate your work. Here you can automatically create the load and result combinations according to the Indian standard IS 800.
Structural FEA Software RFEM 6 Structural Frame & Truss Analysis Software RSTAB 9Steel Design add-on for RFEM 6 / RSTAB 9 performs the ultimate and serviceability limit state design of members according to the Indian standard IS 800.
Steel Design Add-on for RFEM 6Use the Modal Analysis add-on for RFEM 6 / RSTAB 9 to determine natural frequencies and mode shapes with minimum effort.
In contrast, the Response Spectrum Analysis add-on for RFEM 6 / RSTAB 9 allows you to perform seismic analyses using the multi-modal response spectrum analysis. Among others, the Indian standard IS 1893 is also implemented here.
Modal Analysis Add-on for RFEM 6 / RSTAB 9 Response Spectrum Analysis Add-on for RFEM 6 / RSTAB 9Use the "Independent mesh preferred" option in the FE mesh settings to create an independent FE mesh for the integrated objects. This allows you to generate a significantly more detailed and precise FE mesh for individual objects that are integrated into one another.
In the "Edit Section" dialog box, you can display the buckling shapes of the Finite Strip Method (FSM) as a 3D graphic.
In RFEM 6 and RSTAB 9, you have the option to enter "Visual Objects" as guide objects. You can import the file formats 3ds, stl, and obj.
These objects allow you to create a better reference to the dimensions.
Do you have individual column sections and angled wall geometries, and need punching shear design for them?
No problem. In RFEM 6, you can perform punching shear design not only for rectangular and circular sections, but for any cross-section shape.
